We created this preview to share our vision for a new kind of church.

As you will see in the content on the site, we designed this church for Christians serious about maturing in their faith. This website represents the goal for the church when up and running. There is much work to be done. We hope with sharing our vision, we can find others to help us move this idea forward.

Where we are:

Exchanged Church is a legal non-profit entity in the state of North Carolina.

The IRS has granted Exchanged Church “Public Charity” status under section 501(c)(3).

We have created an initial educational curriculum outline (subject to review and additions) that will form the foundation of our teaching.

We are working to locate and license (where required) content to support the teaching of the curriculum.

We are working to put in place a structure that will allow us to create our own teaching content in the future.

We have developed the functional specifications for an application and database required to coordinate this type of church (many “micro-churches” functioning as one church).

Next steps:

We are looking to build our initial body of Elders that can guide the spiritual direction of Exchanged Church.

We are raising funds to pay for the development of the application and database to support the growth and operation of the church.

We are working to start our first Gathering to test the model and work through the curriculum at an accelerated pace.
